Susanna has shown in galleries worldwide, starting her very first career representation with the Frost & Reed gallery in Bond St. London, and a show in the Petersen Galleries on Wilshire Blvd. Beverly Hills – Susanna has been occasionally presented in museums both in the United States and Europe.
For many years Susanna has been working primarily on monumental sculpture by private commission, and has not sought representation in either galleries or through museums. Susanna prefers to share a vision of the possibilities of enhancing an environment directly with the client, and therefore saving their overheads considerably.
Susanna likes to collaborate on the needs of the particular location with a win win scenario, suggesting possibilities that may not have occurred to the client. It is her aim to not only make every penny of their investment have the greatest impact, but provide promotional material as well. FILM MAKING
Born in England, Susanna first studied for her National Diploma Degree [NDD] in ‘Theater Design’ at the Croydon College of Art, London. Continued with studies in fine art at Byam Shaw School, then subsequently as a student of sculpture at Sir John Cass College, London. Seven years academic training included further studies in glass at the Florida International University, and Pilchuck School for Glass, founded by Dale Chihuly in Seattle WA, USA. In addition to her well known Animalia sculpture, Susanna explores a new medium in glass, with abstract symbolic images using mixed media.
