A favorite polo pony of Lord Sam Vestey, Cirencester Park Polo Club – played by 10 goaler Eduardo Moore
This is a small sculpture in bronze. I studied Fabiola in her stall on site in Gloucestershire. It goes without saying that as a polo player myself, having the great advantage of playing practice chukkas with great high goal players such as Daniel Gonzalez, Gonzalo Pierez, and the Hipwood brothers, I can feel every nuance of action in the subject.
There’s no substitute for having actually experienced the coordination between the horse’s precise moment of balance and that moment when you hit the ball. It’s a dance of extreme precision, team work, and infused with adrenalin!
