Pangolins keep the forests and wilderness of Africa and Asia clean from infestation of termites and ants. It has a wonderful function that keeps the wilderness in balance. Pangolins were not meant to be placed in a cage in the wet markets of China, co-mingling with bats and other exotic species that should not be either a food source, nor traded for medicinal properties.
